At Kings Priory School we use our Personal Development (PD) provision to allow pupils to be resilient, active citizens who are able to live happy, healthy and successful lives.

Kings Priory School has exceptional provision for Personal Development through our multi-faceted approach: in the formal welfare classroom curriculum, pastoral support and both in our consolidation and exploration curriculum.

Respect, Tolerance and Friendship

Our Personal Development provision has a holistic ethos which pervades through everyday school life, as part of the curriculum, which is accessible to all. We maximise the outcomes for every child so that every pupil at Kings Priory School has the opportunity to flourish personally.

Our Personal Development provision helps pupils understand how they are developing personally and socially, and tackles the moral, social and cultural issues that are part of growing up in modern Britain, it develops personal resilience and good physical and mental health in pupils. We provide pupils with a wide range of opportunities to learn about British Values and appreciate what it means to be a member of a diverse society.
