The Duke of Edinburgh (DofE) Award at Kings Priory School is energetic and action orientated, aimed at emphasising the uniqueness of the young participant whilst remaining committed to inclusivity, as such the popularity of the award has steadily increased, large numbers of pupils who start their Bronze award with Kings Priory School in Year 9 go on to achieve their Gold award in the Sixth Form, vastly improving their social skills, teamwork skills, problem-solving skills, resilience, well-being, confidence, self-esteem and self-discipline in the process. Since the launch of the DofE at KPS in 2013, over 1500 pupils have actively participated in the award. We are incredibly proud of our young people and their achievements.
