PSHE
The intent of the PSHE curriculum at Kings Priory School is:
To promote the spiritual, moral, cultural, mental and physical development of our pupils.
To help and support young people prepare for opportunities, responsibilities and experiences of later life.
To ensure children and young people acquire the knowledge, understanding and skills they need to manage their lives effectively.
To give pupils the opportunity to explore, clarify and challenge their own and others’ values, attitudes, beliefs, right and responsibilities in a respectful environment.
To provide pupils with the skills, language and strategies to live a healthy safe life in modern Britain.
These are all underpinned by the school’s values of respect, tolerance and friendship and are supported by the core skills of the school; reasoning, problem solving and presentation.
