Creative iMedia
The intent of the Creative iMedia Curriculum at Kings Priory School is to provide children with an informed understanding of the digital world and creative industries whilst also meeting the requirements of the National Curriculum.
Underpinning the design of the curriculum are the school’s key values of tolerance, respect and friendship. These key values are supported by the core skills of the school; reasoning, problem solving and presentation. Our Aims are to ensure that all pupils:
can become independent learners, encourage creativity and awareness of the digital media sector.
are equipped with a range of creative media skills and provide opportunities to develop transferable skills such as creative media planning, analysis, collaborative working, strong communicators and review.
have the freedom to consider many aspects of the creative industries that will interest and challenge their understanding in a range of curriculum areas.
are responsible, competent, confident and creative users of information and communication technology.
